"Dan the Man" Is Moving On!

Send your "Happy Retirement" cards for Dan

to the Parish Office by the end of the month

Dan, our Maintenance Supervisor, is retiring at the end of this month after serving the parish for 12 years. Dan has been one of the most versatile, mechanically-minded employees a parish could have! He kept up all of the parish equipment and facilities, made repairs, took care of emergencies, and provided a broad network of contacts. Dan has been a valuable resource and a great, steady employee.

Feel free to drop a "Happy Retirement" note at the parish office to thank Dan for his exemplary service and wish him well in this next chapter of his life.

Civilize It

This non-partisan movement is a call for all of us to help change

the tone, follow our faith, and quiet the quarrels in our

day-to-day lives. It’s not about winning the debate. It is about

witnessing the love that is at the heart of our faith.

Hold firm, fast, pray, and insist upon what belongs to you by

right - our first, most cherished liberty: our freedom to

practice our religion.

Jubilee Year of Mercy

December 8, 2015 through November 20, 2016

"We need constantly to contemplate the mystery of mercy. It is a wellspring of joy, serenity, and peace.

Our salvation depends on it...

At times we are called to gaze even more attentively on mercy

so that we may become a more effective sign of the Father's

action in our lives."

~ Pope Francis, in the Bull of Indiction

for the Year of Mercy

Remembering Your Loved One

Consider having the red sanctuary candle by the

tabernacle lit "in honor of" or "in memory of" your loved

one. The suggested donation would be $5, and the candle

would burn for one week. Your loved one would be

mentioned in the bulletin and during the weekend

intentions. If you are interested, contact Joanne at the

parish office (522.3680).

Headed the Right Way?

If you've been away from Christ and/or His Church

and are ready to turn your feet

and your life back to Him,

we would love to help you

take those important steps!
