Social Activities |
Parish Festival
Our annual parish festival is held each year
at the end of July. Volunteers dedicate
many hours to the success of this project. The
monies generated by this event allow the parish
to move new projects from the planning stage
to completion. Some of the more visible
improvements are new windows for the parish
office and rectory, a new phone system, expansion
of our north parking lot and needed financing
for our Krumpe Center. A substantial
portion is also earmarked for outreach programs
in the St. Bart’s Community. If you would
like to be part of this grand venture, please
to contact one of this year’s Festival Chairpersons
through the Parish office. |
Parish
Picnic
Each year as close as possible to the Feast
of St. Bartholomew (August 24) the parish family
gathers to celebrate, renew friendships and
meet new members. If you have a lot of
energy, enjoy picnics and planning parties,
you would be perfect for this committee. Click
here to contact the Parish office if you can
help. |

Jr. High Youth Ministry
This is a new program geared toward students in grades 7-8, with some opportunities to join in activities with Youth Connection. Students meet to explore teen appropriate topics through activities and games, and socialize with others in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Opportunities are presented to encourage students to allow God to touch them and for others to view them as Catholic Christian teens in their daily lives. We will meet monthly and also have periodic planned outings. Adult volunteers are always welcome! For more information, click here to contact Mrs. Suzanne Engel at s.engel@fuse.net.
