Deacon Flamm

Three years after graduating from Roger Bacon High School, I was drafted and enlisted into the US Air Force for four years. It was during this time that I was married to my present wife, Clara. We have been blessed with four children, two boys and two girls.

Shortly after being discharged from military service, I continued my college education at the University of Cincinnati and Xavier University, opening the doors into the teaching field at the high school, junior college, as well as industrial levels.

Additionally, 10 years were spent, both part time and full time, in running a construction business.

After receiving additional education and training, my last 18 years of working in the secular world were in the area of robotics and automation. It was during this time that I heard the call to become a permanent deacon, receiving the necessary education and training from The Athenaeum of Ohio.

On April 28, 2007, I was ordained a permanent deacon and spent the next five years at St. Gabriel Parish in Glendale, Ohio.

Effective April 15, 2012, I was formally appointed as a Deacon of St. Bartholomew Parish.
